I have to give credits to my brother actually.He was the one keeping an eye on it while cooking while i was busy.Goes best with any indian meal..great way to use up leftover potatoes..
THINGS U NEED
- POTATOES-BOILED AND DICED -2
- CHILLI POWDER-1 TSP
- CORIANDER POWDER-2 TSP
- TURMERIC POWDER-1/4 TSP
- SALT-AS NEEDED
- OIL-FOR SHALLOW FRYING
- GARLIC CLOVES CRUSHED-4
METHOD
- HEAT OIL IN A PAN
- ADD GARLIC AND FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN AND NICE AROMA COMES.
- ADD THE DICED POTATOES AND TURMERIC AND FRY ON A MEDIUM FLAME FOR 15 MINS
- WHEN THEY TURN CRISPY ADD CHILLI POWDER,CORIANDER POWDER AND SALT AND FRY FOR 5 MINS ON MEDIUM FLAME.
- NOW PUT ON THE LID AND KEEP THE FLAME LOW FOR 5 MINS.
- GARNISH WITH CURRY LEAVES AND SERVE HOT WITH RICE.
