This is one such recipe which does not need any explanation.The moment you make them you can see them disappear before your eyes .Its a magic.........

- UNSALTED BUTTER-100GM
- CASTOR SUGAR-75 GM
- LIGHT BROWN SUGAR-80GM
- EGG-1
- VANILLA EXTRACT-1TSP
- PLAIN FLOUR(MAIDA)-150GM
- BAKING SODA-1 TSP
- SALT-HALF TSP
- CHOCOLATE CHIPS-100GM(AVAILABLE IN SUPERMARKETS)
METHOD
- In a bowl add softened butter and beat till creamy with an electric beater or a whisk.
- Add both the type of sugars and continue to beat till creamy in a medium speed.
- Add vanilla extract,egg and continue to beat.
- Now in a separate bowl sift together salt,flour and baking soda.
- Add to the previous mixture and mix well.
- Finally add the chocolate chips and mix well.
- Preheat your oven to 200 degree celsius.
- Take 2 tsp of dough at a time and place in a baking tray lined with a butter paper leaving sufficient space between as they tend to expand.
- Bake for about 12-14 minutes.
- When they turn lightly brown remove from oven and cool them for 10 minutes.
- Serve them fresh.
HANDY TIPS
- If the dough is sticky add some flour and refrigerate for half an hour and then use it,otherwise they tend to expand enormously resulting in very thin fragile cookies.
- Any kind of nuts can be added additionally.
- The amount of chocolate chips can be adjusted to your taste.
