- SPRING ROLL SHEETS-(AVAILABLE IN ALL SUPERMARKETS)
- ONION-100GM
- GARLIC CHOPPED-3 CLOVES
- CABBAGE-100GM
- SHREDDED CARROT 100GM
- CAPSICUM FINELY CHOPPED-100GM
- PANEER-100GM(OPTIONAL)
- AJINOMOTO-HALF TSP
- SALT-TO TAST
- FRESHLY CRUSHED BLACK PEPPER-HALF TSP
- SOYA SAUCE-HALF TSP
- TOMATO KETCHUP-1 TSP
METHOD
- Heat oil in a pan and add onion and garlic.Fry till soft.
- Now add all the vegetables,salt and ajinomoto and cook covered for 5 minutes.
- Finally add the sauces and pepper and saute well. till the veggies are cooked.
- Cool this mixture for a while.
- In a small cup mix 2 tsp maida and half tsp water to make a thick paste.
- Take each spring roll sheet and place it on a plate in the form of a diamond.
- Keep 1 tsp of filling towards the bottom and roll it upto half.Seal the edges using maida paste and continue to roll.Finally use maida paste to seal the other end.
- Deep fry in a medium flame till golden brown.
- Serve with tomato ketchup.
HANDY TIPS
- Yo can add even seasonable veggies like corn ,beans etc.
- Do not fry in high flame as they tend to go black easily.
I love spring rolls but havnen't tried making at home! Your's looks perfect, girl!! Crispy outside and chubby looking neat rolls!!
