BEETROOT HALWA

These vegetable based sweets are healthier and low in calories.Can also be made with carrots.Made in a jiffy in microwave oven..So simple compared to the stove type method.



THINGS YOU NEED:
BEETROOT-1(SHREDDED)
SUGAR-300 GM
MILK-300 ML
CARDOMOM(POWDERED)-HALF TSP
GHEE-2TBSP
CASHEWS-FEW
FRESH CREAM(OPTIONAL)-2TBSP

METHOD

  • TAKE A MICROWAVE BOWL,ADD ALL THE INGREDIENTS.RESERVE SOME CREAM AND CASHEWS FOR THE GARNISH.
  • MICROWAVE FOR 1 HR AT 600 DEGREES.STIRRING IN BETWEEN.
  • SERVE HOT OR COLD.
  • CHECK AT 40MINS.IFTHE CONSISTENCY IS GOOD STOP COOKING.
